AM: 3-Arctic Circle. It was ok. Over the weekend i found a little pain in my legs and it kind of hurt during the run. but i stretched and iced when i got back to the school and it didn't seem to do anything. so i guess i'll just keep working at it till it goes away.

PM: 10.5-Three Set Michigan. Holy Megan! That was one of the worst workouts ever. Even though I still hit the A standard, I had a hard time doing it. I just stuck it in there and finished...barely. I'm doing some serious stretching and icing now because of coaches urging.

AM: 3-Arctic Circle.

PM: 2-Sports Medicine VO2 max estimation.

PM: 9-Intervals. 1*400 at 1:07, 5*1000 at 2:42, 2:44, 2:46, 2:37, 2:41, 1*400 at 0:59. The thousands were so fast compared to the beginning of the year. Coach says that on average the thousands were at a 4:30 pace! crazy.

AM: 3-Arctic Circle. Feeling amazing after yesterdays 15 minute ice bath and a little stretching.

PM: 8-Dixie High School. Just trying to survive. My legs were hurting. But we had another ice bath at the school. it was so cold but i think it did some good. stretching at home right now.

AM: 3-Arctic Circle. After the run I sat in the glass room doing some real stretching and waiting for Michael to get back so we could partner stretch. felt pretty good but i am still so unflexible and sore. not a good mix.

PM: 6-Pleasant Grove. After a four hour trip to PG for our race at AF we took an easy four miles with the girls and another two miles on our own. the whole time trying to explain to Casey how to get to where we were, when no one was quite sure where we were. feeling pretty good.

AM: 8-Pre Foot Locker Invitational. Really cold at the start but warmed up during the race, obviously. I did ok, but not my best. And for once I beat Trevor but he didn't quite have the race of his life either. Was sort of disapointed at the end that I didn't beat out the AF kid. But coach talked to all of us in the car and we realize that we can learn from this race and just keep getting better. So now that this is off our backs we only have 2 more races, well three if you count our time trial next week, this season... hopefully if we make it to nationals.

AM: 3-Coral Canyon Golf Course.

PM: 9-Shinob Kibe/Striders/Lifting/Plyo's. Long eight miler around shinob kibe and across the bridge of death that needs to be finished. at least no one took a dump this time although i really needed to. and we did it pretty fast. then we went onto the new trail along the river behing the industrial park and onto the mosquito trail. everyone went and did striders without me cause i had to take care of some business in the bathroom. then we started lifting. in the middle of lifting it started to rain pretty hard so i decided what better time to go do my striders. it wasn't such a good idea. it got way cold and it really hurt because it started to hail. went back inside all wet and finished up with some good plyometrics.

AM: 3-Arctic Circle. For once Devin and Ryan came on time but Trevor never showed up. So i still had someone to run with. since coach claimed he was doing some track work this morning.

PM: 6.5-Intervals. 1*400 at 1:07, 3*1000 at 2:44, 2:41, 2:45, 1*400 at 0:59. Corey was a beast again! and all of us others still hit solid times.

PM: 6-Foremaster/Lifting/Plyo's. easy six miler over the top of foremaster. we made up the coolest song ever, the XC version of Jenny, by Flight of the Concords.

AM: 3-Arctic Circle. freezing this morning! getting into winter which means we have to wear a shirt.

PM: 9-2*PV Course & DI+1 mile picking up cones. race was pretty good. Corey lead out for the most part of the race with me right behing him and Trevor a little bit behind us. then i decided to take the lead and ran a good mile or so in the lead, then with about 600 meters left, Trevor zooms by me around a corner and i just went with him. We battled all the way to the finish and he finished less than a second in front of me.

PM: 7-Dirty Sock/Striders. Old run out on telegraph in Washington, bringing back memories of last year and Trevor & Corey running through the big old mud pit. It was pretty good. We talked about the race down in Arizona this weekend and we are all feeling pretty confident.

PM: 6-Intervals. 1*400 @ 1:03, 2*600 @ ?:??, 1*400 @ 0:5?. Sorry no one really had a watch today. well Ryan did but he doesn't know what we got. so there it is. It was a way fast workout though. And someone FINALLY beat Trevor in a 400, (me). Feeling pretty tight though. So this week is all about health, Health, HEALTH!!! as Coach Holt would say.

AM: 7-Regionals. 3 mile warm up at the hotel, half mile at race, 3 mile race, half mile cool down. Our worst race of the year. Didn't do good at all. I was sick this whole week but i can't use that as an excuse.
