AM: 3-Arctic Circle. As good as always, except my hips and knees hurt a little bit.

PM: 8-Shinob Kibe/Striders. After taking our state pictures, and the pictures we are using in the chocolate milk competition, we went for a run around Shinob Kibe. The dirt (not mud) was a lot better than last time we ran this route in the rain. Michael had a little accident but it's bound to happen to everyone sooner or later. Then striders after which were slow at first, but we got better by the end.

AM: 3-Arctic Circle.

PM: 10.5-3 set Michigan. 3*[1*800 at 2:45 (5:30 pace), 1*2400 at 9:00 (6:00 pace)] + 1*400 at 1:15 (5:00 pace). Really good workout. I hit the A standard along with Corey and Trevor. Corey did amazing beating it by about 40 seconds, I beat it by about 30 seconds, and I don't know how far Trevor beat it by but he was right behind me the whole time. It was cool getting the A standard, cause i have normally only gotten the B standard on 3 sets, and the A standard only on two sets, but today i got it done. It was kind of cold today too which made it nicer, but how nice can a Michigan workout really be?

AM: 3-Arctic Circle. Legs felt so crappy after yesterday but i guess that's why we do these morning run's to get the crap out of our legs. So i'm going to stretch a lot today like i did in the shower this morning.

PM: 7-Green Springs/Striders/Lifting. Easy mileage up green springs then some pretty decent striders when we got back. that was all good. But lifting was not. Because we tapered for state we haven't been lifting for a couple weeks and now my body is killing me. Plyometrics were especially hard.

AM: 3-Arctic Circle.

PM: 9-Ladders. Today's work out I can honestly say was hard but noth the hardest of the year. We were hitting amazing times, or so i am told, i didn't really feel like it. But this is how it went. 400, 600, 800, 1000, 1200, 1200, 1000, 800, 600, 400. and our times were faster on the way down the ladder than on the way up. ending with a 59 second 400. Coach also said that all of our times were faster than they have ever been. To me that is amazing since this is one of the hardest/longest workouts we've done. Also surprising to me i could breathe a lot better in between reps. Today was also the first time Trevor has been beaten in any interval work out. Corey was a beast today too.

PM: 12-I don't even know what to call this run. Trevor and I ran a DI warm up lap then met up with devin back at the school and ran 1200 loops cause we wanted to watch the football game vs. Maple Mountain. After running eight laps we did some on the track after the game then started our first mile of our three mile tempo section on the track then went up and did another DI for the other two miles of sub 6:00 tempo. It was really hard cause there was a ridiculous wind but not as bad a Kannaraville. We showered at the school and stretched in the locker room because all three of us agreed that it would be very beneficial because the run was horrible.
