Didn't have practice this morning so went out on my own after lunch for my 10 minute run + 1 mile. Just made up some loops around the PE Building and the track to get the distance. Was running about 6:00 pace for the first half, then slowed it down to 6:30 near the end. I felt good like I do every day. I can feel my heart rate go up, my breathing get harder, but nothing I can't handle. I'm getting nervous for the race this weekend though. It's a 6K! How am I suppossed to race longer than I run daily? I'll be happy with a 22:30 which is 6:00 pace.
