Just expecting to do the normal form mile and 10 minute run I showed up to practice ready to get it all over with in a half hour, then coach surprised me with a workout! 3*1000m w/3 minute rest. The other guys did 8 at 3:00-3:20 but the redshirts only 3. I thought it would be pretty tough but the pace was really chill. We hit 3:20 on point for the first one. 3:10 for the second, and then coach let us speed it up on the last one so we hit 3:05. Not too exciting under normal circumstances but these aren't normal. I was so happy to get some speed in for the first time in 2.5 years!
